Fanfix has positioned itself as the main competitor to platforms like Patreon and Onlyfans. In addition, it is becoming the favorite of Gen Z content creators. But why?
So far, the numbers speak for themselves. According to Fanfix, content creators can earn up to $70,000 per year, in addition to offering a safer place than other platforms.
What makes Fanfix different from other content platforms? Let's talk about it. CleverClick 360 te lo cuenta.
Fanfix: The New Platform to Monetize Content
Fanfix was created in 2021 by Harry Gestetner, Simon Pompan, and Cameron Dallas. In 2022, the platform was acquired by SuperOrdinary, a company that helps bring brands, creators, and consumers together.
On the platform, content creators can host exclusive content and charge users a monthly fee for early access. Some of its features include:
- Receive tips on posts.
- Set your own subscription prices.
- Set your own tip on Private Message prices
- The creator receives 80% of all earnings. Fanfix receives the remaining 20%, as operating costs.
Why is Fanfix different from other platforms?
As you can see, Fanfix works in a very similar way to Onlyfans or Patreon. However, it does have one big difference. On Fanfix, unlike other platforms, NSFW content is not allowed. Its aim is to offer an alternative aimed at audiences between 13 and 24 years old, where creators can monetize their content and interact closely with their followers.
Additionally, Fanfix aims to be a competitive monetization platform. All creators on the platform have at least 10 thousand followers. In addition, in that sense, the platform helps you with insights to improve your content and increase interaction.
Updates
It currently has over 9.6 million registered users (including two million monthly active users and 2,000 creators), impressive growth for a one-year-old company. In contrast, Patreon, founded in 2013, had a total of 100,000 registered users, including 50,000 supporters (aka patrons) and 15,000 creators.
In December 2022, the platform launched the livestream feature for creators to put a paywall on their streams and offer additional benefits to supporters. Starting with that update, fans will be able to watch livestreams, chat with creators, and tip.
