Differences between Gen Z and Millennials

Millennials (or Y Generation) were born after 1981. Generally speaking, they are considered the generation to interact with digital technology on a daily basis, although they grew up in an era before smartphones or social networks.

On the other hand we got Gen Z, a. k. a. Centennials. Unlike Millennials, digital technology has been present in their lives since the very beginning. Although there is some confusion about the date of birth, 1995 is generally taken as a reference point. So yes. The oldest Gen Z are quite adults right now. In fact, according to Bloomberg, they represent a third of the global populationThis is relevant information: as their income is increasing, we could say that is an audience that competes with Millennial.

What about technology?

Both generations depend on mobile devices. 80 % of Millennials sleep with their smartphones and 32 % even take it to the bathroom. Centennals, on the other hand, are not so different.
